(SUPER DUPER LONG POST)

Touched down in Sydney in the evening. Rude guy trying to insist that we get a ride from them at i can't remember how much Aud and when we refused (because the airport was announcing to be wary of people offering transport as it's illegal) he stormed off and scolded us. Got our tickets and headed to our apartment via the train. Got hit on by some shaggy haired dude for sex while waiting for the train. Like hello? NO. Trying to figure our way out from Kings Cross Station to our apartment. Didn't realise that our apartment was very close to Sydney's sorta red light district. Drunkards around the area and with the bad weather, we had to walk in the light rain with our luggage and all, navigators in hand. The streets were really dark and quiet even with lamps. We had to walk a bit and down the slippery slope with our luggage and all. Climbed up 4 levels (8 flights of stairs) to our apartment with our luggage without any help. Had a bad first impression of Sydney. But, what an experience already.

First meal in Sydney. Pretty good. Bless our tired souls. Bus stops were always about 10 minutes walking distance away. How can you grow fat when you walk away everything you just ate. And we're back in our apartment, we're just tired. Rotated our sleeping places between the bed, sofa bed and sleeping bag on a cushion. Our trip has just begun. :)

Seafood lovers. Sydney is reeling me in.

 Gloomy weather and gloomy streets.

Pretty sights at night. Pretty and chilly.

Nothing perks us up better than desserts.
 Salted caramel and popcorn flavoured.

Eggcited for the much awaited trip to the blue mountains. But, it was quite a disappointing trip with really bad weather and soaked shoes which made us feel even more cold and there's no way to dry our feet at all. The tour guide was just into his own music and thinks that he's real cool.
They kinda look like a gigantic rat.

Pinky from Pinky and the brain.

After playing with the kangaroos, we eat them. That was what's for lunch. I ate a small piece just to try, and it was really tough. The more i chew, the more the image of a cute kangaroo pops up in my mind and... i can't chew no more.

Grabbed coffee.

Super steep railway ride. Too bad the weather wasn't clearing up.

A cave with waterfall over it. Kinda amazing to see it up close.

Here's my wet hair for trekking in the rain. I actually trekked with one hand holding an umbrella, and the other day something to grab on in case i slip.

Really good Japanese food to make us happy for such an unfulfiling day.

Shopping day ahead! Good weather day!
And blur me forgot to bring money out for shopping day! Headed back on my own and hell, was the journey scary! Imagine i had to walk back from the bus stop pass the semi red light district. Damn scary! And navigating to the bus stop and hoping i board the correct bus and alighting at the correct stop. Walked as though i lived there for years. LOL To be safe, be normal.

Went to look for my dance shoes~ :D

Finally dinner time! After shopping! :D Hungryyy!

Off to a secret place for some nice brunch and scenery! :)
 Aussie camp found

A long and fun day with good food yet again!

Off to Sunday market~
Really delicious sticky date pudding brownie and chocolate brownie.
Super good homemade paste and sauce that i bought them back home. Truffle sauce for my pasta!

All sorts of flavours. He said, if i eat this (gives me) licorice, guys want to kiss me. LOL

I bought this chili sauce but it got confiscated at the airport. :< I got an immediate tummy ache right after trying a tiny bit of it. Hell yes it's strong.

I like buying pictures and paintings when I'm overseas.

 Celebration night! With fireworks!
 More macaroons for us.
And that's the last night before my friend flew off, and it's back to trio again for the last few day we had left.

 The day i got a surprise! :D
so... my friends hid the paper bag under the pillow where i was going to sleep. But it was so dark and i was too tired to even check what it was and placed it somewhere else thinking my friend was pretty messy and didn't pack her stuff properly. LOL And the next day, they asked me if i saw my present, i was like huhhhhh? And then they wished me happy birthday! LOL Then... i realised that it wasn't a joke. HAHAHA! And it felt like my birthday the whole day. Hahaha. More shopping until our arms drop.

More shopping! Bought loads and my arms hurt like mad having to carry them the whole day! Plus the bus stops are some distance away. :< Mad rush to shop around since the shops close pretty early.

Headed to factory outlet for more shopping. And i went totally crazy. Spent a lot! But the sale was incredible! Everything's just ridiculously cheap, especially those brands that SG doesn't have or will never have that much discount. It's crazy! I went crazy! LOL But i don't regret buying any of it!!! :D And BBQ for dinner with the twins. :)

Woke up really early for whale watching! My first time going to watch whales and I'm super eggcited! :D
Kiasu look out for the cue to board face. HAHAHA!

Whale flipping. It's amazing. I don't have steady hands and it was pretty shaky on board.

So... we loved the ride and watching them whales, plus we won't get another chance like this again, so we went on another trip to whale watch before leaving for home! :D

Headed to the beach. Amazing view. I love it. The weather was great, the sea seems calm, and it's just so... peaceful. Wouldn't mind staying next to the beach if the weather is like that all the time.

 Want this doggie!

Woke up to brunch with one of their friend living overseas and he's really a super duper Mr. Nice guy aka gentlemen. Though sometimes he is quite lame and awkward and funny with his jokes. Hahaha But we were really happy to have him introduce some places to us and dine together for a few days. :D

Headed for more shopping again at another factory outlet. It was such a chore to sieve through all the clothes just randomly handing there all squashed up that you have to pull out every single one of them to take a look! And there were like 4 racks of those! But i must say, they are really cheap!!! :D
Found this at the supermarket while getting groceries to cook dinner for the night.
Our tiny space but we can have guests over. :D
First cider in Sydney. It's actually really good. The best cider I've tasted.

More whale watching! :D and last minute shopping before returning back home.
First bubble tea ever since i went on a holiday!

Girls missing home so we were happy to be going back already!

Spent the night packing my luggage and trying to keep everything within the baggage limit. I swear i shop like i cannot stop. Even when i know i don't have space already and my luggage is SO full, i just can't stop! It's like too cheap to resist! Even on last minute shopping to get stuff for people, i ended up buying so much for myself. LOL

And the real deal was when we had to carry our luggage down 4 levels. And imagine how difficult it was to carry it up when we were halfway on our trip, it's so much more difficult to carry our fully loaded luggage down! Had some help from some neighbours.
A

And... That's the end of a very happy trip with my 3 other very happy and favourite friends.

Till the next trip... Our adventure shall continue. :)

Bye~
