BKK SHORT VACATION!

HI PEOPLE!! As mentioned in my previous blog entry, I was on a worktrip to Bangkok! I'M BACKKK!! So this post will be about what I've been up to for the three days in BKK!
Am really glad that my boss was kind to allow my bro to tag along hehehe! He offered to pay my tickets and lodging for a week but I think I would probably die of lovesick for even a day longer. So I decided to go just for 3days 2nights. Despite some cock ups here and there, my bro manage to join me for this trip! :D Coincidentally, my mum was going too! In fact, she went three days earlier.
Our flight was delayed for close to an hour, so famished and pissed, and the immigration queue at the airport was terrible. I was cranky, and poor bro had to put up with my attitude for awhile. THANK GOD MOTHER MA CAME TO OUR RESCUE W BACON SAUSAGE WRAPS! My mum waited close to 3 hours for us at the airport. FUYOH SIBEH PATIENT!!!
We stayed at S Sukhumvit Suites, located opposite Terminal 21. Okay I don't really fancy this hotel as it is inaccessible and traffic around was bad. Reckon cos the sleazy bars are just two streets away from us, hence the mad traffic during night. I couldn't complain much either as my trip was paid for so I better just shut up. BOOHOOO I'm already a burden bahahah cos I brought almost my whole family along and it was suppose to be a work trip :/ LOL We travelled around by LRT and MRT, surprisingly it was fast and so much more convenient! :D SAVE QUITE ALOT ON TRAVELLING TOO! **SHEN QIAN WANG^^
My exhibition was on Thursday, so I had some spare time before I meet my bosses for dinner. So we headed opposite to Terminal 21. We had MK Steamboat! My mum said it's like Coca Steamboat back in town so ya we decided on MK!
It only cost us like 900+ baht for 3 pax! Relatively cheap and the spread wasn't too bad! Can try!! ;) (THE GREEN NOODLES IS THE SEX MAN I ALMOST FORGOT HOW IT TASTED LIKE!!! MY FAV WHEN I WAS YOUNG!!)
After MK, we headed back to the hotel to wash up. I got forced and reluctantly left my mum and bro at the hotel to meet my bosses at Soi 24, Seafood Market. zzzz hate to entertain!!!
Okay laaaa I had my fair share of super fresh and huge cockles, oysters blahblah...

After dinner with bosses, met up with mother ma and bro and as requested by MEEE, we went to SIAM NIGHT MARKET! :D (MY FAV SHOPPING PLACE!! ) All of us three didn't go back to the hotel empty handed! YAY! I love Siam night market! Can bargain! I have an advantage cos I look like Thai, can speak and understand simple thai like numbers so I did manage to bargain quite abit! HIAK HIAK >:)
OKAY THIS IS GETTING ABIT DRAGGY. LET'S MOVE ON TO DAY TWO!!
Woke up freaking early on Thursday, BKK time 7am to prepare for the exhibition at Impact, Thong Thani. Grabbed hotel brekkie with bosses and goshhh waited so freaking long for the guard to get us a cab cos it was too far, we were nobody's child:( no cab wanted to send us.
FINALLY..... we got a cab. reached exhibition hall in an hour. It was quite disappointing though, as the furniture range wasn't quite feasible, and there were nothing interesting. The walkthrough ended within half an hour. IKR travel so far and you see nothing impressive. That sucks.
I'M OFFICIALLY FREED FROM WORK!! YAYYYYY!! I left my bosses and took a train back to Asoke Station ALL BY MY OWN, SO FREAKING BRAVE I KNOWWW! Met up w mummy and bro at the hotel. changed to casual clothes andddd UNION MALL IT IS!!
Dined at Seoul Grill, had authentic mookata. Damn Good! Only 1185 Baht for 3 pax!

Day 3, last day in bkk! Can't wait to go back to Singaporeee. Checked out early as we didn't want to waste time travelling to and fro to collect our luggage for our flight at night. Last stop was Platinum. Not really excited cos I'm broke already and my bro is sick. Had to carry his backpack, and lug my luggage. Nevertheless GIRL POWER NEVER DIE, went to Central World Naraya to get souvies for Boyf's family before heading to Platinum to 'kill'.
It was getting late. Before we proceeded to the airport, my mum brought us to this wanton noodles stall! They serve pig trotters rice and those disgusting internal pig organs as well. (this stall is the one bloggers mentioned) My mum assured us it's the best, she never fail to eat here when she's in BKK. I tried the wanton mee, and YA, IT"S GOOD!
So basically this trip is more like a given trip for a short holiday hehe. Well, I had fun, and I think I'm even closer to my family especially my MOTHER MA after this trip. OMG this getting abit mushy and all... BUT I LOVE THEM DEARLY. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. <3

One day,during a room warming, a group of 5 crazy girls decided to create a blog to pen down our daily life and thoughts individually. Why five fingers you may ask. The reason is because, one day while taking a group shot infront of a mirror, we noticed our height resembles the fingers. ( Lame i know but wdv )Our group name changed for quite a number of times alr, we originated from SPGS (not sarongpartygirls hor) So anyway, this blog will be updated by daily basis accordingly to our "positions"
The thumb, Gene will be blogging on Monday. Index finger, Xiuwen (axw) on Tuesday. Middle finger(so crude LOL), Huimin (heemii) on Wed. Ring finger, Candice on Thurs and lastly our pinky Carmen on fri.
