if you dont alr know... I AM DOWN WITH HAND FOOD MOUTH DISEASE.
yesss, I know some of you will go like " huh I thought only kids get that ?! "
yes im a kid :)
no la, adults can get it too, and its very contagious!!
AND TORTUROUS
and there are no med for it except to let it cure itself.
So, I thought I shld just write a short update abt it.
...
I got it from Chloe (my niece) which Ive no idea how,
and the symptoms started on Friday night,
whl I was at a staycation in sentosa
WHAT A NIGHT I TELL YOU.
I WAS SO COLD AND DIDNT SLP AT ALL.
SO TERRIBLE.
Cause I was hvg a fever( i suspect, but i think i really did)
and having sorethroat.
Went home on Sat morning and slept the aftn away
Had fam dinner at night and my throat was SO EFFING pain that I didnt really get to feast much
Not even my favourite prawns,
that was how bad it is!!
SO SAD
Went back home and slept with a deg of 39.3
All wrapped up like that and fyi I did not sleep in an aircon room
Woke up on Sunday with a lower temp, but still fever.
but my throat was damn bad, worst pain I've ever exp!
Checked it out and saw white spots all over my throat. damn scary ok
its like ulcer. no choice gta endure cause no clinic open on Sunday
Fever went away in the noon I think.
And then Monday, woke up with red spots on my both my palm,feet and lips
Went to the doc immediately, and tada, HFMD.
It hurts like thr are thousands of pins and needles / blisters
Esp whl walking! Just imagine walking ON a leg full of blisters.
I will just post the shot of my hands, the rest are too disgusting
(this was taken ytd, there are a few more spots now)
& then at night it started to itch, cant sleep till 3ish4am
It was damn bad and I had to sleep in the weirdest position ever.
Woke up this morning w not much itch but jz pins and needles.
Got my mom to buy me med to stop the itch and its somehow working,
I GUESS?
Throat is still a bitch, making me swallow EVERYTHING & ANYTHING with a cramp face
even my own saliva.
Didnt eat much too cause of the throat and I think this disease makes one loses appetite
ok I hope I can lose some fats thru this HAHAHA.
The last time I went to the clinic was last year Aug,
I think Aug is my cursed month.

(i know drag v long alr, but I got not much events to blog abt leh!)
